New high-res screens of the highly anticipated game Final Fantasy XIII have appeared on IGN, here they are for your convenience. All of them are in-game screenshots, the game is looking quite stunning graphically. It would seem that three of the main characters are well and truly confirmed (though only the name of the protagonist, Lightning is known), and will be working together through the course of the game.

I see they're keeping the "weather" naming convention thing for their main characters. The red head is cute.

Isn't the main character actually a girl in this one? Or am I mistaken?

Yep, that would be Lightning, the chracter we've seen the most of. I'm expecting the blonde guy to be called Hail or Snow since he rides the Shiva motorbike.
