100 Hours of Twilight

Japanese gaming website Level Up has reported that the total playtime on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may exceed one hundred hours.

Officially, Eiji Aonuma (Director of the game) has said that the play time will vary depend on the amount of sidequests and exploration the player undertakes...just like ever other Zelda game. Even so, he expects Twilight Princess to be the deepest and largest Zelda adventure yet, dwarfing both Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker.

Writers on the site suggested that the game will feature new and innovative gameplay mechanics that will set benchmarks for the future titles, but again, it's not something we didn't know, or suspect. Twilight Princess has no release yet, but we know it won't be before the end of the current fiscal year; the next starts April 2006.
