Not willing to be undone, EA and original Guitar Hero developer Harmonix have revealed a couple of details about Rock Band.

To kick it off, four new tunes have been confirmed for the game. These are:

• Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper
• David Bowie - Suffragette City
• The Hives - Main Offender
• Mountain - Mississippi

Like the recent announcement from Activision, EA has confirmed that they've secured deals with major record labels from all over the world, which should mean that the final version will have a vast array of different tunes to play to.

A tutorial and practice mode have also been announced, allowing you to train to your hearts content till you're ready to rip it online in the World Tour mode. Quick Play and Solo modes will feature as well.
