Apple Addresses Gaming Situation
Mac

Ever since the dawn of time, Mac users have suffered from lengthy delays on games that PC users took for granted. Apple has decided they want to put a stop to it.
Due out in two to three months on the Mac are four massive titles including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Need for Speed Carbon, Battlefield 2142 and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
Frank Gibeau, EA’s Executive Vice President of Publishing said, “These four games are just the beginning. We’re excited to deliver key EA franchises such as Harry Potter, Madden Football and Need for Speed to Mac gamers.”
"We're thrilled that the world's number one games company is making this major commitment to the Mac," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "Game fans are going to love playing these new EA titles on a Mac."
Yes, these are all EA (Electronic Arts) games, and yes we admit some of those franchises are terribly worn out or were no good in the first place, but if EA is jumping on the Apple bandwagon, it won't be long before other publishers follow.
Finally, Mac users will experience same-day launches for games that PC and Console users have experienced for many, many years.
Sliced Comments: We can't wait to find out just how "cool" this "new feature" is in a new Mac vs PC commercial campaign. Remember, Macs don't get those cryptic error messages.
