Atari Prepares Retro Atari Classics For Nintendo DS - NDS

Atari has made a collection of 10 classic titles for the Nintendo DS, with slight adjustments to suit two-screen and touch-sensitive gameplay. Each game will be playable in its original form, for those purists out there, but there will also be a new "Tagged" mode featuring new looks from graffiti artists. Yeah. Weird.

Included on the card will be:
  • Pong
  • Missile Command
  • Asteroids
  • Breakout
  • Centipede
  • Tempest
  • Warlords
  • Gravitar
  • Lunar Lander
  • Sprint
Every game will have tighter game control thanks to the stylus, will enable up to four players to wirelessly play, and will also support head-to-head gaming against another person. It is most likely that it will utilise the 'Download Play' mode of the Nintendo DS to allow other systems within range to play along without needing the game card. Neat!
