Aussie PS3 Midnight Launch Details Revealed
PS3
With less than a week to go, Sony have revealed details of the midnight launch for the PlayStation 3, with the main event occuring in Sydney's Pitt St. Mall.
Myer is going to be the store behind all the ruckus: they're devoting a large public space on the 22nd of March to a viewing area, where the new Bond film Casino Royale will be screened (starting at 9:30 PM) to the waiting public. Cheekily enough, the film will be running off a PS3.
As well as this, Myer have also announced that the first 100 people to buy a PS3 will also get a Blu-ray copy of Talladega Nights, adding to the Blu-ray copy of Casino Royale that Sony have promised to the first 20,000 purchases of the console.
The usual giveaways and testing machines will also be onhand to will away the hours. Get ready!
