Atari with the NHL announced Backyard Hockey 2005. To be released later this year, it will build on from the first with players to expereince a all new 3D experience that will feature the Backyard Kids and NHL pros as kid sized versions. The game will be officially licensed by the NHL and will feature all 30 NHL teams and 10 playable pros as kids. Gameplay will feature 3 on 3, where you will be able to customise uniforms, lineups or create your own player.
As for an Australian release, probably doubtful due to it aiming at the American and Canadian market, but you just never know. Discuss this game in our forum and tell us what you think.
