Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Unveiled
Xbox 360

Banjo-Kazooie info is leaking all over the place. That same Game Informer issue that a NeoGAF forum member leaked contained all new info on the bear and bird's new adventure. Titled "Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts", Rare have assured us all that they don't want to make some bodgy 'hi-res' version of the original game. Cos they haven't done that before, ever.
BK: Nuts & Bolts will put a fair amount of focus on vehicles. Scattered around the levels are parts that you'll use to construct and upgrade vehicles. Apparently, there'll be something like 1600 parts that you can attach to the vehicles. Which is...insane.
Those of you currently crying into your Banjo bear will be somewhat pleased to hear that a bunch of platform elements from the previous games (like tight rope walking, jiggy collecting and good old platforming fun) will still feature. The Notes are back, but now they'll be used as currency.
Interesting. Sound off in the comments.

Who does all these news things? I've noticed a lot of sarcasm and little jokes in them... I don't like it because half the time you need to have been following the story since day one otherwise it makes little to no sense

Yeah. I kinda think just about every platformer that's not Mario kind melds into the same thing as they all borrow bits and pieces from each other. Ratched and Clank, Crash, Jak and Daxter, that sort of stuff, never liked any of them that much (the original Jak and Daxter I thought was good way back when, but then they added guns so I didn't touch the sequels). etc etc.
I don't see much platforming

A crazy Rare homage, I suspect.

Probably showing what you can make with that customisation doodad.

I thought it was interesting. Don't know if I agree maybe they shouldn't have pitched it as the new banjo game.
Yeah, I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the game, but I'm not won over yet.
