Baten Kaitos Sequel (Well, Prequel)

Believe it or not, it's for the Gamecube, and will likely be one of the last titles for the system. It was completely revealed in Japan's Famitsu magazine, though it was one of Namco's big Tokyo Game Show titles.

The game is set 20 years prior to the beginning of the original title. Your character is Sagi, a member of the empire's "Elite" force of fighters. Sagi's quest involves discovering what is Sagi heads off on a quest to determine the nature of a mysterious change that's appearing in the world.

You actually play as a spirit that resides within Sagi, an entity that represents Sagi's "true self." This should resonate with those that have played the original title. Look for the game next year.
