EA has announced that Battlefield: Modern Combat is to arrive to the PS2 to be the first in the franchise to come to console. Battlefield: Modern Combat is to be released in 2004 and to be published under the EA Games brand.

So what do you get to experience? With 30+ vehicles available, up to 24 players online, latest in high tech weaponry. Your choice to play as one of the three superpowers. Developed by Digital Illusions Battlefield: Modern Combat will feature large and detailed environments, with 70+ weapons and weapon systems available.
