Wargaming.net has announced that it will be developing Massive Assault: Phantom Renaissance, a stand alone expansion for its strategy game Massive Assault. Taking place five years after the first war which had seen Free Nations Union claim victory. The Phantom League went undgerground, keeping a couple of secret allies with hidden research facilities. The Phanton League undertook a surprise attack during the Anniversary of the Great Victory celebration, which saw over half of the F.N.U forces wiped out. Over running all major cities the F.N.U took to the mountains and islands and to some unpopulated planets.

Included in Phantom Renaissance will be a new Assault mode where you are given limited resources and deploy a task force to capture enemy strongholds. The game will expand on the Massive Assault world with more varied strategic choices.
