Xbox
17th June 2004, 7:05pm
The cat is back for a second round in Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space. Announced by Microsoft Game Studios Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space is set to be out in 2004. Blinx 2 will be the first game that will be 5-D. Thats right it is not a typo I did say 5D. Players will be able to control both Time and Space. Gamers can choose to battle it against one another in battle mode or in a two player cooperative mode. Check out the screens with more in our forum
Development will be undertaken by Artoon the developers of the first Blinx. Gamers get re-united with the cat as you face both tough battles and challenging puzzles. Players will be able to slow down the action, pause, fast-forward, record and even a combination of those actions. If just controlling time is not enough for the power hungry, Blinx 2 adds the ability to control space as players step into the role of enemy pigs so they can control space. This will allow players to create black holes and worm holes for your use.
Various gameplay modes will be available to the player with the two player cooperative mode, multiplayer battle mode with up to four players or just the standard single player missions. In co-op modes you will need to work together to overcome tougher groups of enemies with unique two-player challenges that will require teamwork. Players in this mode will be rewarded with unique map locations only accessible in two-player mode.
Battle mode is where the fur really flies. Gamers will lead a squad of cats using time control powers or command a team of enemy pigs on the otherside of the fence using space control powers. Players will be able to fully customise their cats and pigs.
