Breaking: European GB Micro Date

This news has just reached us from Nintendo's press conference at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The Gameboy Micro as sleek an MP3 player, and is launching on November 4th, 2005. In an even cooler twist, it will be available in four colours: Silver, Green, Blue and Pink. It's priced at £69, which my handy-dandy currency converter tells me is AUD$163.

Jim Merrick, of Nintendo Europe says:

"The Game Boy Micro is the latest fashion statement from Nintendo and is an absolute must have for those looking for a stylish console. This new product takes everything gamers know and love and condenses it into a sleek and sassy shell. Game Boy Micro is about expressing yourself and the way you play video games."

Still no word from Nintendo Aus, but considering the two GB Micro dates we just got, we can get a rough idea of the time frame.
