Brutal Legend is your ultimate heavy metal game. As roadie Eddie Riggs you get thrown back to a mythical age of metal. Armed with a giant axe, a guitar, and a v8, your task is to free the world from barbaric overlords using a mixture of spells, special moves, and the help of fellow head-bangers.

No, that makes absolutely no sense to us either! but it does make for a pretty whacky concept. From the minds of actor Jack Black, and game designer Tim Schafer (Full Throttle, The Secret of Monkey Island, Psychonauts, others), it will draw from the influences of classic heavy metal. Voices and tracks will also be provided by bands such as Motorhead, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and more. Whatever the result, it will sure be an interesting title!

The game has been in development for a couple of years by Psychonaut developers Double Fine Productions, but has only recently been picked up by publisher Electronic Arts.
