9th February 2005, 6:28pm
The Pokemon Centre, a real-life store featuring everything Pokemon, that was located in Rockerfeller Centre, New York, has closed down for renovation. I'm sorry, all you Pokemaniacs out there. But for the rest of us, there's a much cooler replacement. A fully-blown Nintendo store will be inhabiting the lot soon, complete with hardware, software, accessories and miscellaneous toys from all three of the Nintendo platforms. Expect to see events like Pokemon contests, as well as cooler bonuses arrive instore.Since Sony launched the PS2 at the Metreon in California, perhaps Nintendo is planning a big launch of the Revolution in the Big Apple. We'll keep you posted.
