11th March 2009, 9:58am

Atari has sent word that the The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena demo is now available on Xbox Live, and the PS3 demo should be available shortly, if not already. The game ships for retail on April 24th, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The demo features the Athena Main Decks level, and showcases both the visual look of the game and its varied gameplay. The demo even lets you try one of the game’s unique features, controlling a Drone, while cutscenes shed light on the harsh Riddick universe.
We also have the first of a series of Developer Diaries by the guys over at Starbreeze Studios. Check it out below.

If someone with a decent DL limit could grab this and let me know how it plays - that would be sweet.

It looks quite awesome.
The original was all kinds of awesome, I can only imagine a remake with double the content running on a modern PC would be absolutely nuts.
If they don't have Vin Diesal as voice over I'm going to be very disappointed, half that man's appeal is in his kick-ass voice - that and he's the next Arny.
