Co-op Confirmed for Call of Duty 5

Co-op is great: it makes great games out of awful ones. Activision has confirmed that the upcoming Call of Duty game will have split screen and online co-op. This has been confirmed for the PC, 360 and PS3 versions of the game: apparently the Wii version will have it's own 'unique' version. God knows I've heard the words 'unique' being associated with Wii games before, so take that as you will.
You'll be able to "rank up and unlock perks in competitive multiplayer by completing challenges and earning experience points", and the game will dynamically change it's difficulty based on your experience.
If that's not enough, you'll also get to play with a flamethrower.
