Crazy Frog Racer DS Gets Aussie Release

Atari, one of Australia’s leading sources of interactive entertainment, today announces that it has secured the rights to distribute Crazy Frog Racer for Nintendo DS throughout Australia and New Zealand.

With Crazy Frog Racer DS, 'The Annoying Thing' goes portable in a high octane racing riot through futuristic cityscapes and underground tunnels. Blast your opponents, collect zany power-ups and utilise super boosts as you compete in a series of wacky, amphibian vehicular challenges. This is your chance to join 'The Annoying Thing' or beat him. Sliced suggests beating him.

Choose from 8 different characters including 'The Annoying Thing'. Then take the racing mayhem to your friends with WiFi enabled multiplayer, going head to head in race or battle mode.

Game features include:

• 8 playable characters plus 1 unlockable hidden character
• Host of power ups and boosts all from the original PS2 game
• 9 tracks and 3 cups plus 1 unlockable secret track
• Play head to head races with 4 other players using WiFi technology
• Time trial mode – show off your best times to your friends

Crazy Frog Racer will be released on Nintendo DS in Australia and New Zealand later this year.
