Creators of Hitman series Announce New Title
PC, Xbox 360
28th July 2006, 10:58am
From the studio's of IO Interactive, creator of the Hitman series, comes a brand new action shooter: Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. Initial impressions, judging from the press release, make this a title to look out for. Combining the stories of two men on death row (a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath, respectively) with a third person action perspective, this co-operative game is something 'no gamer will have experienced before'. At least, according to Eidos Interactive, the publisher.
Global Head of Brands Management at Eidos, Larry Sparks, also had this to say:
"Take IO’s innovation and graphical excellence from the Hitman series, add some of their widely acclaimed squad expertise from Freedom Fighters, then take these to a new level in next-generation technology. Add a gripping story, an anti-hero and a psychopath and you get Kane & Lynch: Dead Men; the ultimate next generation experience"
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will be avaliable for the PC and the Xbox 360 in 2007. One to keep an eye on, methinks.
