Atari today sent word that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will release on April 24th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The game features a complete HD remake of its Xbox predecessor, Escape from Butcher Bay, as well as the brand new full-length Assault on Dark Athena campaign.

Reader Comments:
Been looking forward to this title since I heard about it some time ago. I admit if I was going to turn gay for someone, it would probably be Vin Diesel, and so ofcourse I really enjoyed Pitch Black and to a lesser extent The Chronicles of Riddick.
Escape from Butcher Bay was ok - something a little different but VERY patchwork with lots of issues. Despite it's shortcomings it was a decent play.
Hoping AoA can do better.
