Dead Space Coming To Wii

EA CEO John Riccitiello has announced that Dead Space will be heading to the Wii, IGN is reporting. The game was revealed during a financial conference call, but no date or details were announced. Obviously, we can expect a drop in graphics quality, but hopefully FPS controls and motion-controlled finishers will make up for it. The original Dead Space was apparently one of the company's big sellers over the holidays.

"We're bringing core intellectual property to the Wii," said Riccitiello. "Wii is the market leader - they're getting half of our emphasis in terms of title count."

I'm tempted to buy a Wii just to play DS with motion sensing, would make for an awesome experience. Though, this game was pretty highup on the requirements list, it's rendering and textures were a thing of beauty - I wonder how much of this they'll have to sacrifice to port it to the Wii.
