Donkey Kong Details

During a press conference held last week in Japan, Nintendo suprised some by announcing a brand new Donkey Kong title for the GameCube to be jointly developed by Namco.

Today IGN Cube reports that Donkey Konga (tentative title) is not a Platformer game that the Donkey Kong series is known for but infact a music based game. Weird no?

IGN also went on to say that Donkey Konga sees players playing conga drums with Donkey Kong and his many friends.

I find this news intriguing and yet disappointing at the same time. It will be interesting to see if Nintendo will go ahead and localise this game or whether it will stay as a Japan Only title.
