Donkey Konga Confirmed

Following the recent rumours surfacing on the net, Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo, today confirmed that Donkey Kong GCN is indeed a rhythm based game titled Donkey Konga.

In Donkey Konga players play conga drums with Donkey Kong and his many friends. Both Nintendo and Namco will be developing the title which is due out Christmas 2003 in Japan. Shigeru Miyamoto is believed to have got the inspiration of Donkey Konga from Sega's Samba De Amigo.

It is still unknown if Donkey Konga will recieve a western release.
