Driv3r Delayed

It appears that Driv3r will be delayed from March to 1st of June according to a press release today.

Update

It appears the reason for the delay by 2 months of Driv3r was so it could launch on PS2 and XBOX consoles worldwide at the same time. This is what the latest press release had to say

    The decision to choose a new date was a strategic one we had to make given the enormous potential of DRIV3R to be a global success... Two extra months of promotion will spike sales of this title, which could be the largest return on investment in the Group's history."
Could this become the industry norm, this is not unique to Atari who released the hit selling game Enter the Matrix at the same time world wide. One launch day, for all consoles, to become standard practice we will have to wait and see.
