E3 2003: Gemini Industries Showcase New Products At E3

15th May 2003, 9:40pm
Gemini Industries' Game Elements division showcases an impressive array of platform-specific gaming offerings at the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo (booth #6309, Kentia Hall) through May 16.

New products featured at E3 by Gemini include: Recoil Series Controllers; Command Centers; Solar Pak for GameBoyTM Advance; Total Control for PS2TM; and the Control Element and Play and Save PSoneTM control pads.

Game Elements' Recoil Series Retractable Controllers and Command Centers are intended for use with the most popular gaming/entertainment platforms, PS2, XBox®, and GamecubeTM . Outfitted with an automatic spring retractable cord that recoils in seconds, the Recoil Series Retractable Controllers make for easy play and convenient storage. Three separate controllers are equipped with rubberized tactile grips and vibration features. Gemini's Command Centers, colored and contoured to match each platform's architecture, combine the functions of the best accessories into one neat application (A/V switcher, 5-player ability, game storage, etc.).

Extended play, extreme power, and enhanced light comprise the Game Elements Solar Pak for the GameBoyTM Advance. The futuristic device with solar array attaches to the console and converts sunlight into power that enables long-lasting playtime. Solar Pak ($29.99 MSRP) also enables exciting play in the dark with its articulating light bar.

For PS2 enthusiasts, the Game Elements Total Control system provides control options never offered before in any module. A Dual Shock 2 compatible control pad with headphone jack, two-in-one DVD/Receiver connector, and a multi-function DVD remote places the ultimate in video and audio gaming controlling at gamers' fingertips. Total Control ($29.99 MSRP) also includes high frequency response headphones for control pad connection.

Elaborate control systems for the PlayStation OneTM are also available from Game Elements. The Control Element for PSoneTM represents the first attachable personal control pad for the console. Control Element ($12.99 MSRP) boasts a two-in-one control (joystick or d-pad attachments) and can be connected for 'laptop-like' play or detached for two-player operation. The Play and Save controller is an enhanced Dual Shock compatible control pad with a built-in 2MB memory card. With the Play and Save ($12.99 MSRP), PSone gamers can play and save simultaneously, without the worry of losing their memory card.

All Game Elements accessories and peripherals debuting at E3 will be available by July 2003 at most major consumer electronic retail outlets.
