E3 2003: We All Asked For A Change In The Tony Hawk Series...

In what appears to be one of the crazier ideas, Neversoft announce Tony Hawk Underground.

Tony Hawk Underground (THUG) is a Grand Theft Auto-esque adventure with skateboarding action. THUG is a story-driven adventure that is very similar to GTA. The game offers plenty of skating and tricks to bust, as well as the ability to run around on foot and drive vehicles.

THUG will also feature extensive create-a-park, create-a-goal, create-a-trick, and create-a-board modes. The create-a-park mode will be different than the ones you're used to since you'll be constructing structures that are closer to a town than a skate park.
