E3 2004: Playboy: The Mansion
25th April 2004, 2:42pm
What would be an interesting E3 booth to take a look at, Playboy: The Mansion is set to be released on the PS2 and Xbox game systems in 2004. Developed by Cyberlore Studios, the game will offer a mix of challenges including social interaction, party-throwing simulation and empire building. The player will become a virtual Hugh Hefner building the Playboy magazine and mansion into culture icons. Not only that you will live the lifestyle of Hugh mean rubbing elbows with hot women, popular celebs and throwing the wildest parties. You will need to carefully manage the mansions social scene to keep the business end of things thriving. One of things you will be able to do is arrange photo shoots, that will allow you to control the camera, shoot models for covers and pick the best theme for each issue to maintain the excellence the public demands. To be realistic you will see a full 3d rendered environment of the Playboy estate. With a campaign mode and an Empire mode players can follow an involved story line or set loose and explore and create their own.
