E3 2005: Prey To Be Distributed Online

DiStream has announced that Game xStream will power the online distribution for video game, Prey from 3D Realms. Game xStream enables game publishers to offer graphic intensive games, like Prey, for distribution and sale online. A key to Game xStream's appeal is its dynamic streaming, which takes place in the background even after the game has been started. This allows gamers to start playing games within minutes of pressing the "Buy" button
