EA Launches EA SPORTS Nation For Online Games

Well it seems that EA have been very busy lately with the creation of EA Partners (see here). Well now to compliment the recently released list of upcoming online titles (see here)it has launched EA SPORTS Nation the online sports service for Playstation 2. The service will include:
  • Tournaments
  • downloadable rosters
  • ladders
  • team updates
  • leaderboards
  • rankings
  • instant messaging
  • and voice chat.
EA say that no other console-based sports title can boast 7000 players at one time. With titles like Madden, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, FIFA Soccer and so many other hugely popular sports titles, theres allmost no doubt that the service will be a amazing success. Its expected that EA's number of users online will increase even more, impressive indeed.
