Endless Ocean 2 Announced

Endless Ocean was a moderate success for Nintendo, and they're bringing the IP back for a second go. While the first game focused on relaxation by scuba diving through pretty environments, the sequel introduces more adventure. You can hunt for salvageable items, sell them, and then use the money to decorate your own personal reef in order to attract aquatic guests. Also new is the ability to heal sick or agitated fish with the use of a tranquillizer-esque tool. Best yet, with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and Wii Speak, two players can communicate while exploring the sea together.

Freakin loved the first one. Seriously, it was so good. Rad graphics, especially in motion, good music as well as custom soundtrack if you like, a huge sea to explore, shitloads to do, and lots of magic moments.
Really one of the most awesome exploring games made in ages. Didn't think there'd ever be a sequel - I'm freakin pumped!

We still get people asking for the first one in-store but the Aussie distributors don't sell it anymore, and nobody ever trades it in. Hopefully the new one will be even better =D
