Engadget Has An Early Playstation Move Review
PS3
1st September 2010, 9:08pm

Engadget has just posted up their early review of the Playstation Move Controller. It is an interesting read if you're thinking of purchasing the system on release. It will be out Thursday September 16th here in Australia, so we'll have to wait a bit longer to review it ourselves.
Reader Comments:

Yeah a couple of places have it now. They seem pretty chuffed.
Certainly I think the biggest draw at the moment is augmented reality, but so far that hasn't lent itself well to any hardcore or even long lasting casual experiences.
I think the novelty will be similar to when the Wii came out - which was a really cool and exciting time, I think - but it will get a bit less glossy as time goes on as well.
I wouldn't mind grabbing it, so far none of the games really excite me at all, but if the initial investment for the camera and controller isn't more than $100, who knows.

If SOCOM Move can hold its reviews above 80% then I will consider it.

Yeah, a lot will depend on that I reckon. Funnily enough, the only Socom games I've really got invested in were the PSP tactical ones. Smashed them (both?) out and they're probably my favourite games on the system.
Same, if it's only $100, I'm tempted to give it a try to just see what it is like. Then again, I am very poor right now so not sure whether I will be even able to afford the $100 come September 16th :-s

If you're interested in it, I recommend ordering the Starter Pack from www.ozgameshop.com (good site, I've used them a fair bit). It's only $79 posted! I just ordered one myself.Link to the pack.

How is that joint so cheap-oh? Everything is mad cheaps.

Cool though, I might grab the starter and Start the Party since people seem so keen on it.
It's being shipped from the UK (free shipping with everything!). I can get MadWorld for $10!

They WERE my favourite UK site 365games.co.uk and about three weeks ago they opened a site dedicated to Aussies with the same low prices and an Aussie bank account. It's great!

Aww lame, they only take paypal and they froze my account 'cause it was accessed overseas. By me, in fact. And then they wanted me to validate it, so I sent them the 3 docs they wanted, but they only verified 2, and now it says it's locked and I have to contact help. But when I go to contact help it tells me I can't because my account is locked. Pretty shitty. So annoying.
I'm more suprised that nshady is posting at 4am
I was doing an assignment and procrastinating!

It's barely even worth that really, terrible game.
I'm loving ozgameshop.com, it's such a good idea and you can get stuff so cheap.

Yeah seems sweet, I'm opening another paypal with my other email and bank account. Annoying though, 'cause I won't be able to use my credit card with it. Probably a good thing though.
As for Madworld... yeah. Cool idea but it's really my least favourite genre, so repetitive. My friend got it buttttt yeah blah.

Jack, you sure they dont have an Aust bank accuont? I'm pretty sure they said they did in their launch email and that was the whole point of having a site dedicated to Aussies.
