5th May 2004, 1:06am
Konami has announced Enthusia Professional Racing. To be released on the PS2 in 2005. Enthusia Professional Racing is to feature groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, enhanced physics and nice graphics to try and deliver a unprecedented racing experience which will be a hard task considering the current racing titles. The game steps away from the standard racing genre instead opting to focus on the driving experience. The realism of the game will be dues to a visual gravity system, that conveys a sens of G-Forces experienced by high speed racing and maneuvering.
Players will be glad to know there will be hundreds of cars available from 40 manufacturers that have been captured in real life, to produce photo realistic graphics. Players can race on many real and fantasy tracks around the world. Camera angles include both a first and third person perspective and will allow the player to get behind the wheel or on top of the action. To throw in a challenge they have included variable weather conditions.
Enthusia Professional Racing will have single and two player mode that takes advantage of the pressure sensitive controls of the controller allowing players to feather the gas and break. For those racing nuts, support for PS2 driving wheels has been included. Further information can be found at the official site www.enthusia-racing.com
