Nokia and Electronic Art's today announced the release of FIFA football 2004 for the N-Gage. EA's top football game will be coming to the newest and hottest handheld with the exciting Head-To-Head multiplayer feature via the Bluetooth wireless technology.

"We're bringing the world's most popular sports game to the world's newest handheld game deck," said EA's Executive Vice President of North American Publishing, Nancy Smith. "EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer 2004 is going to bring a new level of intensity to competition on the Nokia N-Gage."

Together with the unique mobile capabilities, Nokia N-Gage game deck allows users to play the latest global titles in a new way - multiplayer games connected locally via Bluetooth wireless technology," said Pasi Pölönen, Director of Game Publishing, Entertainment and Media Business Unit, Nokia Mobile Phones. "The excellent in graphics performance will also impress FIFA Soccer 2004 players on Nokia N-Gage, and allow for the most complete and authentic soccer experience."

FIFA Football 2004 on the N-Gage will also offer up to 300 teams to play as and up to 6,000 players to control, along with excellent 3D stadium graphics. FIFA Football 2004 is expected to be available on the N-Gage this Christmas period.
