Bioware have released the first two screenshots of the hotly anticipated Mass Effect 2, as well as a teaser trailer. The screenshots in this article come courtesy of Eurogamer, and you can watch the teaser trailer over at the official site. Bioware have stated that players should hold onto their save files from the first game as they will have an impact on what happens in the game, such as which characters are alive. Sadly, Commander Shepard appears to have died in the time jump between the games, so it seems players will once again be creating their own playable character from scratch.

This is up there on my priority list, not at the top, but pretty close.
Mass Effect was a decent game, little long winded at times but the leveling system was well thought out and the story line held your attention.
Hopefully the second title will have a few more tricks in it's bag and not rely on the lorels of the first edition.

Agreed, I'm hoping Mass Effect 2 will expand on the good system the original set up. Multiplayer would definitely be a good move imo.
