Flipnote Studio Free On DSiWare

Flipnote Studio, the creative little app that lets you create your own cartoons frame by frame, is now available for free in Australia and New Zealand. While the less creative among us might just use it to jot down notes or voice memos, it's really built to let you make those crazy animations you scribbled in the corner of your textbook when you were a kid. You can import photos from your DSi Camera library, and record sound effects using the microphone.
You can share your flipnotes through the Flipnote Hatena, an online service accessible by the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection that allows you to trade, rate and save the works of all Flipnote Studio users. You can even continue what someone else has started.
