Nocturnal Entertainment Australia, a leading supplier of middleware and development tools for the Gameboy Advance (GBA) have announced the release of Catapult v1.31b.
Catapult fast tracks the development of games and software for the GBA, by providing everything needed for development in a single integrated package.
At Catapult's core is a unique programming language designed around the capabilities of the GBA. Catapult also includes an editor, emulator, debugger and extensive set of development tools.
Catapult comes with an extensive users guide, 11 tutorials, and 7 sample projects (with complete source).
The latest release introduces native 3D support, image management, sound editing tools and a new level editor.
Catapult is available for all Windows operating systems, with a Linux version to be released shortly. English and Spanish versions are available, with French, German and Italian versions in development.
