Game Informer Rumours

Game Informer has suggested that our favourite franchises will be getting a couple more games. First off, a sequel to the popular Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga is deservingly in the works, but apparently for the DS this time around.

Even cooler still is reports of the chronological seventh game in the Metroid series (Zero Mission = the original) - following on from the tumultuous events of Fusion. It is apparently called Metroid Dread, and will be a 2D side-scroller. Oooh. The name is intimidating! Of course, the 3D shooter Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Pinball are still in the works for the DS.

Finally, and rather anticlimactically for this news article, there's Touch! Golf and Nintendo Tetris. Look out for them at E3.
