Gameboy Micro USA Price and Media

There's been a wave of Gameboy Micro info over the last few days. We'd only received a date for the US release, whereas the European release date and price were both revealed. Today, we discovered the US price: US$99.99. My handy-dandy currency converter tells me that's around AUD$132 - significantly less than the equivalent for the Euro price (which is around $160).

Additionally, straight silver and black will be available on launch, but why get that when you can grab one of six different faceplates? We've got shots of all the sexy tops to the Micro - they're shown below. Basically, there's the standard matte base, as well as three unique skins per colour. With your silver base you can get Black, Ladybug or Ammonite, and for black there's Silver, Flame and Camouflage. The price of the faceplates is unknown.

It's interesting that there's about $30 difference between the region. My prediction for the future: AUD$149.99 and the US colour range.
