Christmas 2004 was the best one so far for the GBA and GBA SP in the UK. The GBA SP was the best selling hardware of the Christmas period, bring the total units sold in 2004 to over 1 million units. The total systems in the UK top 4 million units. The drop to a price of £69.99 lead to a hardware sales increase of 45% in the 3 months leading to Christmas.
