Gears of War 2 Released Tomorrow
Xbox 360

One of the most eagerly awaited sequels for the last couple of years is released tomorrow in Australia - Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360.
Two versions of the game will be available in stores. There is the standard edition with an RRP of $99.95, and also a Limited Edition, priced at $119.95.
The Limited Edition comes with a steel DVD case, a 48 page book which contains character profiles and concept art. It also comes with a making-of documentary, a photo of characters Dominic and Maria Santiago, and a special Xbox Live token to unlock a gold plated Lancer for online.
As an added bonus, both versions come with an Xbox Live token to unlock a "Flashback Map Pack", which contains five maps from the original Gears of War - Canals, Gridlock, Mansion, Subway and Tyro Station. Each of these has been upgraded with the extra graphical features included in Gears of War 2. You can see for yourself in the pictures below.

I started on Wednesday night, played all night, thursday morning 8 til 10:30, most of last night (watched the Stewart/Colbert hour special and the new Southpark episode), and then finished it off this morning. It was about 13-15 hours worth on Normal. I only played Gears 1 on Casual so Normal was a bit of a step up. I don't think Hardcore and Insane are designed to be played in non-coop the first time round. Insane isn't even unlocked of course.
How long is it?
wtf?! how the hell do you finish games so quick?
Even GOW1 took me like about 2 weeks to finish, on and off..
And if I sit down and play a game for more than 2 hours in a row I start feeling queasy.
Finished it this morning.
Epic game, the last level is very fun.
the special edition of GoW2 is only 99$ at JB and big W, i beleive the standard is around 79-89.
Never heard of a $200 game, some places do pass them off for 110.
I never pay more than 89, usually closer to 79 with JB and GAME around these days.
I tend to steer clear of "Collectors Edition" items, they usually aren't worth the extra money.
Interesting stores are sellign this for $99.99, usually high profile games go for $109.99, on occasion $199.99 (COD4 was sold from EB at this price).
