Gears of War Release Date Announced

The eagerly awaited 'Emergence Day' for Gears of War on Xbox 360 has been announced for PAL territories as being the 17th November 2006. Available will be both a standard edition, as well as a limited edition copy of the game. The limited edition will be come in a tin case, and include an extra 'Destroyed Beauty' art book, and an extra 'Making Of' DVD.

Of course, this just happens to be the release date of the PS3. What a surprising, unexpected, coincidental coincidence, eh?
