G.I. Joe Parachuting In For Consoles

One of the 60's and 80's most enduring action figures, G.I. Joe, is set to make a comeback in August with the release of a live-action movie from Paramount Studios and Spyglass Entertainment.

Accompanying the movie will be a game tie-in, which takes place in events in the film, as well as drawing from the cartoon series, comic books, and of course the action figures.

The game will feature some 12 G.I. Joe characters, featuring different skills and weapons. G.I. Joe is up against the evil COBRA organisation. Also included will be a single-screen co-operative mode, which will allow two gamers to take on the bad guys.

G.I. Joe the game will be released on PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, and DS during the middle of the year. You can find out further information at the official G.I. Joe Website.
