inFamous is not coming out in June. Well, okay, so it is. But in America, the tentative June launch date was retracted - and replaced with a solid release of May 26th. Apparently, the team at Sucker Punch were working so hard that it's going to be done sooner than everyone expected.

The sad news is that we here in Australia still have that vague June release date. Wikipedia is saying June 11th, but as we all know, the Internet is full of liars.

Yah, I'm more inclined to believe they cut corners than "worked so hard".

That doesn't make any sense. If they needed to cut corners, then why not stick to the June release date and have a bit more time?

Pressure, failing funding, tryin to beat another title.

It's not much of a change in release date, I think it's as it seems, something got done faster than expected.

I don't know how many corners they can actually cut by releasing it one week earlier than the original suggested launch window. Funding isn't going to fail one week before release - especially not when it's a big flagship title like this one. They might be trying to beat Prototype to market, but again, all you're losing is bug testing, which can be patched out after release anyway. It couldn't be the loss of features or levels that late into development.

I've seen surprisingly little of this game, which is probably my own fault. It looks... interesting, but not interesting enough. I did see a video of the choices though. Can anyone say 'retarded'.

'Hurmmmmm. Well, let's just pause for a sec. So there's some guards, and a crowd, right. So, so, I can attack the guards from inside the crowd and get a couple of people killed or busted, yeah sounds evil. Or I could be lovely and attack from outside the crowd WITH MY SUPER ELECTRICITY KILLING POWERS THAT LET ME BUST THROUGH THE REST OF THE GAME WITHOUT A CROWD SURROUNDING ME AT ALL TIMES and be a bit nicer.'

SHIT!!!!!

Yeah, it seems like a very binary karma system.

It makes it seem like the game will let you be evil for the sake of evil... as in there's no real reason to choose either path, and that doesn't excite me much. At least in shizz like KOTOR you might think one mission is easier/better suited to you, and there was usually some grey area.

Just from what I've seen it's not quite... right.
