Japanese Game Luminaries Pick Next-Gen Xbox Platform

Game Republic's Yoshiki Okamoto and Q Entertainments Tetsuya Mizuguchi is to create Exclusive Content for Microsoft Game Studios. Yoshiki Okamoto and Tetsuya Mizuguchi will work on developing exclusive next-generation xbox games. This announcement signals another major coup on top of last weeks signing of Hironobu Sakaguchi to develop an exclusive next-gen RPG.

Okamoto work includes popular franchises Street Fighter and Resident Evil. He is best known for his ability to conceive and drive completely new game genres.

Mizuguchi is the creative force behind SEGA Rally Championship, Rez and Space Channel 5. He hopes to create games that will give gamers the most emotional and thrilling gaming experience possible - joy, thrills, sympathy and speed.
