Kirby Super Star Ultra Details
DS

Any game with both 'super' and 'ultra' in the title has to be awesome, right? Kirby Super Star Ultra is a remake of the SNES game of the same name (minus the 'ultra'). You ought to know what SNES remake means on the DS by now - make a stack of new stages, bring the graphics up to today's cuddly standards for the old ones, and throw in a few minigames that can be shared over DS Download Play. Voila, another solid addition to the DS's library. Still, the ability to create helper characters that will tag along and fight enemies for you is pretty neat.
Check out the logo, a smattering of screens and character art, and a new trailer, direct from E3.

Kirby Super Star is for the SNES
And it had the ability to create helper characters that will tag along and fight enemies for you.
Changed.
Kirby started life on the original Gameboy, Nick, before moving onto the SNES. He never appeared on the NES.

Kirby's Adventure is on the NES.
Oh crap, well spotted. The document I was reading said "Super NES" and my eye went straight to the NES part and skipped the beginning. The bit about helpers wasn't meant to sound like a new addition.

Well, you learn something new everyday.
At least I got the Gameboy bit right.
Everyone thought Kirby was yellow in the beginning. It was a shock when Sakurai said he was pink. Nintendo development sounds so funny...
And Kirby Superstar is awesome. More of this game is appreciated.
Kirby was actually white when he started life on the Gameboy. I believe they made him white on the boxart in order to match his in-game appearance more.

Tell that to the guy who created him! He was meant to be pink!
