Namco Bandai Europe have announced that Klonoa will be available in Australia this year. The franchise's return has been a long time coming, and features vibrant graphics, motion control and new secrets to discover in a remake of the series' first game.

You need to help Klonoa save Phantomile, a land formed by the dreams of its inhabitants, and recently besieged by an unknown evil. Klonoa’s journey takes you through increasingly difficult worlds across multiple kingdoms as you attempt to save his friends and homeland.

Aided through the game by Hewpoe, a benevolent spirit that resides in his ring, Klonoa has many abilities. He can fire a Wind Bullet to grab and inflate enemies to his advantage. He can throw captured enemies to break obstacles, uncover hidden items, or defeat other enemies with a simple move of the Wii Remote. He perform double jumps to go higher or further when holding an enemy, and use his whirlwind to slow approaching enemies.

Don't worry if you're put off the motion controls, though, as the game supports a multitude of options, including single Wii remote, Classic Controller and GameCube controller play.
