Let The Games Begin!
Xbox 360, PS3

The next generation is still a fair way away, but already the big companies are taking shots at each other. A column in Business Week Online claims that Microsoft head Bill Gates will be concentrating on the PS3 rather than the Revolution."Now people are looking really at two companies," said Gates. "I'd say that everyone's watching what Sony will come out with for this next generation, and what will we come out with, and who can be the leader this time around. Both companies will be very big on it. Nintendo is more likely to be a niche player this time around."
Sony then followed up and took a shot at Microsoft's new Xbox 360 console:
"We look at delivering a quantum leap in technology, not just Xbox version 1.5," said a Sony spokesperson.
That hurts! It will only intensify as the next generation approaches (a rumoured November release for the Xbox 360), and certainly at E3.
