ZOMG! XBOX IN A NEW COLOR! I MUST HAVE IT!!!!                              not.

Yet another shameless marketing fade to squeeze more money out of consumers.

They're not squeezing more money out of consumers, they're luring those who hadn't yet picked up the system. That is a good, attractive bundle, but most of the people that pick it up will be new 360 owners, I'm sure.

... I don't think you know how things work.

Your hatred for Microsoft is really... quite dumb. Like really, which company HASN'T done this ARGH I am actually angry that you made that post because it's so ARGH.

It's pretty rare for people to buy an elite. I was thinking about it yesterday, if they offered 12 months of LIVE (which costs them approximately $0), the elite would sell much better. Right now there's next to no added incentive. 120GB instead of 60GB. Most people have survived on 20GB for the past three years.

Yeah I got the 20gb and get along fine. I've had to delete like 3 old demos but I'll never play them again. Maybe at the very end of the lifespan I'd need a bigger one but I'll manage.
