LittleBigPlanet was delayed from its original late October release date when it was discovered at the last minute that one of the songs in the game included two references to the Qur'an. Copies of the game had already made it to retail stores in preparation for release when Sony decided to pull it and remove the offending material. Unfortunately, this meant unspecified delays across the world.

Well, we can report that the game is out now in Australia. The Australian Playstation site reports a release date of the 7th of November, but multiple retailers were already selling copies when we called to check. In our brief shop around, we were able to find it as low as $88, so do your homework before heading out.

With a copy in our greasy, Gollum-like hands, you can rest assured that we'll have a review up soon.

It had a strict date for the 7th but someone else broke it so GAME started selling it around 11AM.

And I won't have any moneys to buy it until sometime next month... *tear* Thankfully David can borrow it from work for me.
