Mario 128 And GameCube Successor
20th June 2003, 7:18pm
In a recent article published in Nintendo Dream, Nintendo has stated some somewhat interesting details about the muchly anticipated fat italian plumber romp Mario 128 and the GameCube Successor.
According to the report, the development team behind Mario 128 are concentrates on new ideas that have not been seen in previous Mario titles.
Nintendo's reasoning behind not showing Mario 128 at this years E3 was because they were afraid of competition stealing the new ideas seen in the title. Still the sequal Miyamoto promised gamers to Super Mario 64? Hmm....
Nintendo are also designing the successor to the GameCube as we speak (well not literally). They have taken on board many opinions, ideas and criticism from the GameCube, as they try to attempt to revive the success seen in the pre-N64 days. They have also been in contact with many game developers regarding the successor. It all sounds very interesting indeed.
